We use Mean Green and Ego brand electric mowers and Husqvarna and Ego brand electric trimmers and blowers. 

We use a power rake to remove the moss from the lawn.  Using a portable power rake gives us the ability to target certain areas of the lawn where the moss is more dense. Usually it is not a good practice to thatch an entire lawn unless you have an excessive thatch layer.

Aeration is the process of removing core plugs from the lawn allowing more air, water, and nutrients to move into the soil.  Lime is used to help reduce the acidity and help the uptake of nutrients in the lawn. Overseed will help replenish the thin spots in the lawn. It is best to let the cores break back down on the lawn to help manage the thatch layer. This process can be done in the Spring or Fall.
